CDMX - Ciudad de México Food Mecca

Ciudad de México (CDMX) is the “Food Mecca” I didn’t know I needed in my life!

Recently went to Mexico City and learned very quickly that this is “the place” to find the most amazing food. My survivor sister Jaime and I went around for a few days trying everything we possibly could!!!! From breakfasts, coffee breaks, lunch, churros, street tacos, ice cream, pastries, fruits, dinners, did I say yummy coffee?, hehe and much more!

Here are the few places we tried… but I am definitely going back for more food experiences soon!!!

🇲🇽 Panadería Roseta

@panaderiarosetta

Long lines but it moved ok

🇲🇽 Mi Compa Chava Marisquería

@micompachava

We got there early and got seated right away, but while eating, the line got mega long, so get there early!

🇲🇽 Churrería el Moro

@churreriaelmoro

You can see them making the churros

🇲🇽 Contramar

@contramarmx

Probably our favorite and that is very hard to say! The service was outstanding and the food delicious!

🇲🇽 Coffee & Street Food was outstanding

We stopped in many coffee shops and we did not have a bad one at all during the entire trip!!! Also had some street tacos and consomé which was cheap and delicious!!!

🇲🇽 Bonus: Restaurante Rosetta

@restauranterosetta

(One of “The World’s 50 Best Restaurants”)

🇲🇽 Other places we visited: Taqueria Orinoco, Lalo, Cafe de nadie, Café Curado, Buna café, Cumbe, etc.
