Visiting La Sagrada Familia Barcelona

Have you ever wondered if it’s worth entering La Sagrada Familia In Barcelona???

The short answer is:

YES, YES, YES!

La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona is one of the main city attractions. The exterior is an eclectic mix of designs by the famous artist Antoni Gaudi. But when you go inside, it is a truly magical experience. The changing themes, the play in color and materials, everything is a story behind the design. In short, it is worth entering La Sagrada Familia.

Here are some tips before a visit:

⛪️ Buy your tickets online ahead of time! (They sell out!)

⛪️ If you are a solo traveler, you may find tickets the day of your visit. Keep on checking the website and available spots may show up every so often.

⛪️ There is a grace period of 30 minutes (before and after) from your scheduled entry time (I entered 30 minutes before my time).

⛪️ The qrCode will not work after 30 minutes of your time so make sure you make it on time or you will loose you reservation.

⛪️ If you did not pay for the tour, download the app and listen to the self audio guide! It walks you through the experience for free (many language options).

⛪️ They do not allow food and drinks but they let me bring my water bottle (it had a cap to avoid spills).

⛪️ Allow some time to visit the small museum area (with history about the place) and the gift shop.

Enjoy your visit!
